A quieter Micro 355

Post by WVCBH »

After quieting the Excalibur Micro 355, I'm shooting a much quieter bow at 338 FPS.
1: BowJax string silencers
2: Shrink tubing and a suppressor on the bolt retainer
3: Adhesive rubber pads on limbs to reduce string slap
4: Piece of inner tube under the foot stirrup that eliminated the "ring"

I don't know. I didn't have a chance to shoot it through a chronograph until after the mods.

Some good changes you've made there.
Never hurts to make a bow a little quieter. :)

I wrapped my stirrup with a inner tube and took the ring right out, much nicer shooting.

Some do not like AIR BRAKES but it does take that TWANG noise out of string ..

i dont think i would mess with something under those stirup screws. if over time those threads let go that stirup is gonna pull out and send the crossbow like a rocket into something you might not like.
