Ran across the forum today.I have had 3 Excalibur bows and I still have 2 of them.I have been very satisfied with the bows and with the company.
I'm near Kingston and Napanee. We have some pretty good deer hunting in the area. I have 106 acres of my own and have access to about 200 more acres. Our particular area is a bit low on deer the past few years as there is a controlled shotgun hunt in the area and a neighbour has put together a party of abouy 15 guys the past several years and they pretty much filled their tags.Take 40+ deer out of an area in a few years and you do cut down the population.
Back to the Excalibur Xbows--nothing beats simplicity and they have the market cornered on that.No wheels,no cables, very little to go wrong. They shoot like a rifle and stay sighted in if handled and stored carefully. Thanks to Excalibur for a reliable fun piece of hunting equipment.

Thanks guys I do appreciate the welcomes. Anybody who loves deer hunting and has an Excalibur is my kind of guy.
One of the things that I appreciate most about Xbow or any bow hunting is the fact that you have to be darn close to a deer to shoot.I do rifle hunt and anybody with a variable scope and a 308 calibre can pick deer off at hundreds of yards.I shoot paper with my 308 and scope at 100yd. My son practices at 100 to 300 yd. Deer hunting with that kind of equipment is very much like target practice. I do enjoy the gun hunt but feel that the deer has a better chance against a bow hunter. I'm not just interested in the kill but enjoy the hunt more.
Have a good season and many enjoyable days in the pursuit.
