help with scope

Post by Guest »

I am new to the sport and have a exocet. not sure about the scope settings/lines. Simmons 801097 , what do you set all the other lines at (besides the actual cross hairs) there are two curved lines runnin down on either sides of the cross hairs with 6 line connecting the two curved lines.
Can some explaim these for distance and how they are used? Do it just try different yardage till the hit the target?? May be a stupid question but I need to know for sure!

Shooting from a treestand, will it change my accuarcy shoting down!

Thats 10 - 50 or 20 -60 depends on which crosshair you start with. That also looks like a judge you distance using the horizontal lines....Horton use to be like that. He needs to read the specs on it..if'n he no have specs better be finding them on the web....

GaryL. I just tried the web and I couldn't find anything that would even remotely explain what the lines are.

It looks a bit too complicated for me. I'll stay with my vari-zone.

MAybe somebody else can help "GUEST".

Could they be the lines for leading a slow walking deer at different distances. Excal.uses tht on the crosshair line ( the 2 arrows) for that purpose.
