Brace Height for the vixen

Post by Camper »

I just put the string back on my Dad's vixen and noticed that there was no mark for the proper brace height. My exomag has a mark and I was going to measure it and use that measurment for the vixen. What do you guys think?

I think 1 1/8" from end of rail :!: Thats where I set mine on the Vixen...

My Vixen has a red dot on each side of the rail at 1 1/8".

GaryL is right. The string should be 1 1/8 " on the rail up from the riser. If you are putting a new string on start it at 1 1/2 inches from the riser. I had a older Wolverine without a brace height line, I measured 1" from the riser and scribed a mark across the rail. or take some bright red nail polish and make a dot on the side of the rail 1" from the riser, both methods work.
