I know many of you make your own strings. I plan to build a jig and make my own too. I am going to start with dacron in order to save during the learning process then graduate to some of the faster strings probably fast flight. I have done a good deal of searching on the web to gather info and thought I would share it with some of the new crossbowers like me. I hope that experienced members will make comments and constructive criticism as appropriate. All should recognize that these sites are referring to longbow strings and modifications are required in the making process. Following are sites that tell how to make your own jig, how to make an endless bow string and how to make a Flemish bow string, plus materials.
