i have used a bug suit from Cabelas their cheap one,for 5 years now along with a Thermacell ,depends on how bad the bugs are .

I feel sorry for people in areas with bad flies. The UP of Michigan, northern MN, and parts of Canada can be just brutal. I've got a few bug-proof shirts from this company:

And I've also got a few of their pants. The shirts can be a little claustrophobic, and if it's hot and humid it's no fun wearing that hood... but it can be worth it depending on how bad the bugs are. They do make a camo version of their shirt and pants btw. The only real issue I've got with them for hunting is that the material is fairly loud, so you have to stay pretty darned still while wearing them.
