I ve got some zombies on the way from boo for my micro suppressor.
They will be as follows;
16.5"
110 grain inserts
Blazer vanes
Lumenocks
125 grain points, 125 grain ramcats
I m using a JoJan mono fletcher, right offset
My questions are;
How far should the vanes be from end of shaft?
Where should the cock vane be placed? stiffest spine of the shaft?

Re: Fletching vanes
With the flat plastic nock, the Bolt jig sets them at 1.25" from the nock.

Re: Fletching vanes
I ve noticed quills, diablos , executioners are all different. How critical is distance?

Re: Fletching vanes
I have found very little with.25" variation. I have done some with nocks in, and out with no noticeable difference at 50 yards.

Re: Fletching vanes
Hopefully someone that shoots longer distances will chime in before you make a batch.
