Scopes?

Post by Yote »

I have a 335 Micro and it has the Dead Zone scope. What would be a good upgrade scope to put on it? :D

I like the short Nikon Bolt. It is not speed adjustable, so not for everyone.

I've recently upgraded my Dead Zone to a Hawke xb30 pro sr ; I've only got to play with it a little bit but it seems to be noticeable upgrade and seems as though I'm gonna really like it.

I too have went to the Hawke XB30 Pro. Zeiss & Leopold make excellent crossbow scopes as well.

I upgraded to Nikon Bolt , awesome clarity scope for the money.
Also the distant marks are bang on out to 50 yards ,maybe a couple inches low at 60, I have a Micro 335,
I bitched and whined about the Deadzone, just go get a new scope.
You will be so much happier with setup.

I also chose a Hawke 1x5 XB30 SR Pro for my Micro 335. :D I'm totally happy with that choice.

I was thinking of upgrading to a hawke xb 30 pro from a deadzone too. Do you need new rings or will it mount to the same rings without a problem?

You'll need new rings, since the Dead Zone has a 1" tube and the XB30 has a 30mm tube.

I went with the Nikon XR bolt. On my Micro 335. Hard to beat $ 149. I know the other guys like Xb 30 excellent . But I'm very happy. Carbon Express Maxima Blue Streak. $80. Arrows for 5 Feild & Stream had them $39. Bought 5 more . 16.5 " and 18" on other 5 . Bought 3ft. 8/32 all thread cut (10) pieces 3" long 100 gr. Ea. So I entered 225 point weight and 292 bolt velocity On Nikon Spot on zero in my crosshair at 20 The rest of yardage was exactly correct. This micro is a Tack Driver
