season opened here in Iowa today and many other states also. Tomorrow I will be going out for my first hunt with a crossbow!

I can’t believe I have waited so long for this day, almost a year, and I feel strangely calm.

I just wanted to say good luck to all of you

and I hope you will all have a successful year and I look forward to seeing all of the pics

from your hunts.

Also what time of day do you prefer to hunt morning or evening and why?

I like the morning hunt. Reason being, ya got all day to find, gut, skin your deer.

But then again in the afternoon, you have daylight and time to get to your stand.

I think I'll just hunt all day.
