Although I do not know you personally i also have Canada Goose pictures from that time in the 70's. The very first goose season in South Dumfries now Brant County was held after many years of putting matting pairs with clipped wings on the local farms.
It started off with a 3 day season Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a daily limit of 1. Of the ones we took all had neck and leg bands.I think the re introduction went well looking at their numbers today!
