Tightening Broadheads???

Post by ecoaster »

Just bought some Wasp Boss broadheads and want to know how tight they should be in the insert? Finger tight or is there a device to get them a little more snug. Thanks!

ecoaster - I put mine in finger tight with work gloves on.

If you want them tighter you can buy a cheap plastic broadhead wrench for under $10.00. These have numerous slots in them to fit 2, 3, and 4 blade heads.

ecoaster finger tight should be just fine, snug them up as tight as poss. and then check them every now and then...no reason for them to come loose..

Broadheads

Post by xbhntr »

Ecoaster. I use Cam lock 125 grm. With a broadhead wrench and lock tight glue, I install the head. First I tighten it up, then remove the head and add lock tight to the broadhead's threads. Screw it back in till tight, then align fletching with broadhead's cutting edge. Different coloured Lock Tight are available for permanent use. Ray
