Awesome Moose Hunt

Post by schnarrfuss »

Hey everyone, just got back from moose hunting in 15B yesterday and spent the entire day butchering. My brother was the lucky one this year and arrowed a beautiful 47" bull with his Exocet. He called it in and arrowed it at 8 yards full frontal shot dead center in the chest. The arrow penetrated entirely and stopped just before the paunch. Recovery distance was ONLY 20 YARDS, thats amazing. Here are some pictures.

Congrats to you and your brother schnarrfuss. How many in your hunting party?

Sure's nice to have moose meat in the deep freeze for the winter, eh? I may get to go out for a few days later this fall, likely with a rifle.

Send more pictures of your deer hunt, coming up.
