The Rubber string silencers on micro limb

Post by Micro.slayer »

I bought the Excalibur rubber string dampeners that glue on the limbs. I think I have the wrong ones! Need someone to post some pic's ? Do I need the ones that are on the suppressor. I have a Micro 335

You have the right ones as I think they only have the one kind at this time.
One suggestion I might make is to Tye-wrap them on as I have done as a cheap insurance that they stay on and continue to do the job they were intended to do.

Mine are the ones that don't fit Matrix/micro limbs.

Out of curiosity, how much speed is lost with the various silencing devices on the limbs of the Supressor? Anyone reading this tested this?

Steve I will be testing speed loss on my Raid when i get a chance.
It comes with all the same stuff.... but the sound doesnt bother me with my original 335 so they will be put on just to see what they cause for speed loss.
Terry those zip ties will also rob speed. any weight added to the limbs... especially where the move a fair distance will rob speed.

I use all my bows for hunting and keep my shots under 30yrds a few fps.is not a big deal to me compared to the 150# crossbows I have use successfully in the past to fill my tag. :)
