tenderloin for supper

Post by skeeter »

Congrates to allthe successful hunters so far.I harvested a nice fat dry doe last night myself.First one with my new excalibur.I had a extra doe tag for my hunting area , so it was real nice to get some meat in the freezer early in the season.I took her from a natural ground blind with a quartering away shot at 23 yards. It was a slam dunk for my Vixen.I have been shooting 3D all summer so this shot was pretty easy as soon as i calmed myself down.I've taken over 20 deer in my hunting career but every one still gets me excited whether it's a buck or doe.I used a 2117 bolt cut at 18 1/4" with a 75 grain jak-hammer.I've use jak-hammers exclusivly for the last five years and have no problems with them. The doe went 45 yards and then piled up.Good luck to all u guys.I'm lookin for a buck now!!
