Wild turkey survival?

Im wondering how the turkey survival looks this spring south of the mount forest area?
Did the birds have an easy winter?

I travel 6 hrs south to hunt turkeys,
Glad to hear it.
last spring numbers seemed to be up, should be lots of big Tom's this spring!

I'm at the bottom of Lake Simcoe on the east side and we have our usual groups of turkeys out and about as normal.
