String serving off center

Post by peter p »

I noticed on my crossbow that the serving is not centered on the string.
Is this normal? The string is new about a month old.

this won't matter, just cock the bow straight and you'll be fine.

The first string I got it was perfectly centered. The second one was off. I posted on here and someone said to take the srting off and switch the string aroun (change the loops with the tips).

I thought they were nuts because I figured it was mathamatically impossible but some how it worked :?

When its time to give the string a twist, maybe do it from the other end of the string that you have been.
