huntingchic's Big Buck

Post by GaryL »

This is a picture of a buck taken by rtcdir Daughter, I have some of the story he or her can give you all the rest of it.Image

This is my daughters first antlered buck. She shot a button buck a few years back. This buck was an 8 point with l3 and r3 busted off. The buck came out of a thicket 50 yrds or so away and she grunted him in. He walked straight toward her looking at her up in her tree stand as he approached. He got within 15 yrds and turned to his left to walk away and that was it. Now he's on the wall in my office

My congratulations to the young lady.

May this be the first of many to come.

It is great to have a young one as a hunting partner..

That's a beauty buck for a youngster, even for me. Many years ahead for that young gal. Congrats.

Awesome!!!! It's great to see youngsters getting envolved, even better to see some females take part! She looks almost overwhelmed!

That is a dandy looking buck. The brow tines have a lot of character.

Lydia,

Very very good job. Congratulations.
:D
I'm impressed by the fact that you kept your cool and grunted him in, watched him approach, and took the good shot only when he turned. Now, THAT'S good hunting!!! Good training too!!!

If that'd been me, he woulda heard my heart pounding and split. If I didn't fall out of the tree first.

Very very well done.
