exocet on ebay

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me. My friend is buying this crossbow and keeps telling me it is a 2004 crossbow. I don't think it is. Can anyone check it out and let me know what year you think it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is not 2004

It looks like one of the original Exocets . The rope cocking aid that is with it is one of the original Briggs and Stratten lawn mower pull cord handle type with aluminum hook that had brass wheels .

it is a MUCH OLDER model with carved tips, cast riser, house camo (cedar mask), etc.

definitely not a 2004!

PS - The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale

Ditto on the IT IS NOT A 2004!

Just wanted to say thank you to all who replied. My friend has bought this bow from this gentleman who told him that it was a 2004. He payed $700 Canadian for it. I told him for a few $$ more he could have got a brand new one. But it is too late now. Again thank you very much all your help.

If I had to guess, it'd say the bow is a mid to late 1990's model.

Sorry to say, you friend got "ripped-off" big-time.
