Post by Boo »

These fine calls will be available at Boofest. They are with Mike in Ohio and will be shipped to the winners.

I taste fine venison backstraps when I see those Custom Wabi calls because my early laminated calls from Mike C. produced many fine bucks and awesome table fare since he started making them.

As a added benefit I already have a Wabi backup call and certainly plan to bid on another Wabi backup for my backup this weekend.

That middle one may be a "one of a kind". That was the last stabilized burl in that color my supplier had when I purchased it and he did not think he would be able to get any more (of that color).

My wish came true and the corners of my lips raised when my number was drawn for the middle call.
Thank-you Mike and Annissa.

Well, all these great comments just moved me to order one of these calls. I am going to be a happy owner of a Granadillo call in a week or so :D

Thank you Wabi. I was so excited to win one of your calls.

The one that I won that has the little imperfection caught my eye as soon as I seen the picture of it.

They are the best I have used. I can't wait to show it off.

I have a few of these calls, and every one of them is a treasure. I gave one to my apprentice, and he will not hunt without it, nor will i ever deer hunt without my Wabi Call. It hurts me to say this, but they sound better than they look!

Thank you Mike!

Thanks for all the compliments!!!!!!!!

Seem like every year I decide I'm going to give up making calls, then someone posts kind remarks and I decide to go ahead and make a few more.

Ordered some osage, olivewood, and cocobolo yesterday.

That is great news Mike, we appreciate your custom calls very much.
I might add, that I agree with xcaliber Dan , I won't hunt without my Wabi call and they DO make real nice gifts.

My Wabi call is my # 1 deer call. It's always in my pack.

It was interesting to listen to some of the conversations at BooFest when the subject of the Wabi calls came up. Everyone had the same comments about how much they loved their Wabi calls - not just because they're beautiful, but also because of the sound, and effectiveness!
