scent

Post by wolf74 »

Very new to deer hunting and l'm unable to choose a manufactured scent because of the larger selection. l guess the higher the price the better quality it is but that's not always the case. Anyone use a scent which can point me in the right direction. Either Buck or Doe. Just something that will bring in the deer.
Please and Thank you

I've tried several brands and had good luck with Hawgs-Bfore Rut,(called in a nice 11 pointer & got him last yr. He came withing 5dyds of the rag I had set out with the lure in it. Have had good luck also with Wildlife Research 307 also. Didn't call the one I got with the WIldlife research though, he came right up to it and saw smelling the lure when I shot him.

Key is to not spook them with your scent.
