Lumi-Zone Scope

Post by bigbowman »

I tried searching the forums but found nothing on this subject. I’ve been reading for hours and couldn’t find what I needed. Does anyone know the size of Butler Creek Scope Caps needed for the Excalibur Lumi-Zone Scope? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I did call Danny yesterday and he couldn’t remember the size of the caps for an Alumi-Zone scope!

Get a tape measure and see what the outside diameter is of the eye piece and the objective. Then go to the Butler Creek site and see which caps you need. It is about 3/4 way down the page.

Thanks guys for all your tips and help! I'm not new to crossbows, just new to Excalibur & recurves! ;) One thing is for sure, I will never go back to another compound crossbow as long as I can hunt! Love these recurves now!

I did as Danny Miller told me to do. I took the bow into my gun shop to get the exact size scope covers that were needed! The Lumi-Zone eyepiece size is 20 (1.775" , 45.1 mm) & the objective lens size is 07 (1.8-1.89", 45.72-48.0 mm). hope this will help someone else in the furtue! Thanks again for all the replies! :D

You are luck to have a shop that has them in stock. I would have to drive a 40 to 60 mile round trip drive to find one that might have the ones I was looking for. I measure, look up the online charts and order off eBay. Never got the wrong ones yet.

Yeah, my local gun/bow shop is awesome! He usually has anything and everything that you could possibly need! I give him my business because I always try to support local ma & pa shops and I can Not beat the sevice and value that he has added to the hunting community over the years! I’m like a kid in a candy store every time I go in there! ;)
