Yep. The image tag is the next to the last little box on the right just above where you type a reply.

So to be clear...We still do not have any Excalibur image hosting on the new sight????

But some things are sitll puzzling?? My avatar address for examble, I just right clicked my avatar and coppied its' img address and it posted as an Excalibur address?? So it has to be "Hosted" by our sight.. RIght??. ... here is its' address.. And as you can see it "is" an Excalibur address.

I see that the image hosting service is available on our fourm by clicking on the "atachment" icon... But it's just not functional. Can't find a way yet to get my images loaded from my computer to Excal forum to make it past the "file" stage... But the "IMG icon will allow you to show pictures that have already been uploaded else-where from other sights.

I too was hoping the new update would be able to upload a pic easy. Nope don't work for me either. Why can't they make it easy so you can just upload a pic like most sites

Well there is a cost of bandwidth associated with the hosting of images....In order to pay for this cost many of those "other" sights cram so much advertising crap down your throat. and have giant paid banners pasted all over their forum pages.

But with that being said...posting pictures here is SUPER easy! Just upload your picture to ANY image hosting forum you belong to and copy the IMG address and paste it here...

Here is the Excal logo that I grabbed from Crossbow Nation.. Notice that it "has" a CBN address.. So the cost to host this image is theirs..and probably the cost is quite handsomely offset by an Excal Ad contribution! :)

This is only captured as an Image. Not a "hot-link"...so by clicking the "picture" does not lead you to "Learn More"

You can also use Imgur as a photo hosting site. Upload your pictures and copy the direct link between the Image icons and submit.

It is actually pretty easy. Once you get the hang of it.

I posted a how to on another thread. Which should really be a sticky so that anyone can easily find the information. To make it even more simple, open two tabs in your browser. One for this forum and one for your image hosting site. Use (Ctrl & Tab) together to flip between the tabs.

Someone here would say "Bada Bing, bada Boom!" and your done.
