Well, I Took my first deer with a bow today. Its been raining here all day. I finally put on my rain gear, went out and sat in the rain. 15 min. later three does walked by me and stood broadside at 20 yds. I settled my cross hairs on the lead doe and shot. She let out a bleat, jumped once, and went down. My arrow took out the top of her heart and one lung. It was over before I could get another arrow ready. It was one of my biggest thrills in along while. All your advice over the past weeks went along way in making my first bow harvest an enjoyable one. Thanks to all those who helped. And thanks to Excalibur Crossbows.
