He hunts with a M 380, and hunts open prairie a LOT!
That requires long distance belly crawls, and pretty much most shots are taken from prone.
He called today asking what I might know about bipods, but unfortunately my knowledge is basically nada on the subject (I shoot chiefly from a stand or on my hind legs).
So, what he is seeking is a bipod that is suitable for prone shooting (6 - 9 inches?? More? Less?), has an attachment at the bottom of the bipod so he can attach his sling as per normal position, and a bipod that swivels at the connection point to allow for leveling of the bow on sloping terrain.
I figure at least a few of the fine folks here have had some experience with this type of set-up, and so am hoping we can count on your sage advise to help once again!
Many Thanks in advance! And best of luck to all this fall!!
