Nap spitfire
Caballas lazer strike ll
This year im trying the excalibur xact cut seems really quality built but haven't connected with it yet. All 3 brands are right in there with my field points .l really like the way the xact has a really really sharp point up front way sharper than the others

Re: Favorite broadheads?
I'm a big fan of the Rocket Sidewinder (1.5") and Hammerhead (2"). It doesn't hurt that I can get them delivered for under $20 a pack. The couple packs of Spitfire XXX (2") and Spitfire Maxx (1.75") that I tried also worked well, albeit weren't as soft on the wallet. Due to rocky soil, all my heads get a single trip. I double band everything that calls for a band, and single band everything that doesn't. From experience, I've also got in the habit of replacing any bands remaining from last season.
There are a lot of good heads out there as long as you can avoid the cheap knock-offs.

Re: Favorite broadheads?
I've gone back to Slick Tricks just because I need to know every arrow that goes in my quiver will hit the "X" out to 50 yards so I practice with the exact head and arrow and just change blades. I'm my own PITA when it comes to this. I even put a marks on my arrows where the blades line up once they are all shooting an 'X" at 50 so when I change out blades I get the same head alignment every time... Plus the Slick trick blades sharpen back up very nicely..

Re: Favorite broadheads?
I used Muzzy crosskill 125 grain early crossbow broadhead then to Muzzy 125 grain trocar crossbow . Now I am using Muzzy trocar HBX Hybrid also in 125 grain first 2 off the Exomax the trocar and the trocar HBX hybrid off the Matrix 330 I can say without a doubt the Hybrid are deadly accurate as I practice with the broadhead I will be hunting with.

Ramcat 125
Slick Trick (150 xbow, 125 magnum, 100 std)
Magnus 2 blade 150 (here piggy, piggy)
Montecs fly great..really consistent, but I cannot get them really sharp and this contributes to less blood IMO. But I put one through both shoulders of a mature doe a few years ago. She didn't go far at all but there was zero blood. Of course that is a bit of a fwd shot so maybe I'm unfairly blaming the head. Used these on the first bison too at the outfitters suggestion. Performed well with no damage at all.

Re: Favorite broadheads?
NAP spitfire 100 gr from 1996 to now...My only complaint is 100 gr ones do not weight 100 grs anywhere from `103 grs to 106.9 grs....
does it matter not really but I like things sort of accurate ...
