I went out and sat this evening even though it was very warm out! Right before it got too dark for shooting light 3 does came in on a string right to the plot. I watched them for about 20 minutes and was hesitant because of the warm weather. Well the oldest doe turned broadside quarter away a bit and the other two finally moved out of the way, well I let the Executioner arrow fly! Pinky hit the sweet spot on the doe’s crease just like during all of her target practices! It was her first harvest! I’m so proud of her! The doe ran about 20 feet and then dropped like a sack of potatoes! Gotta love those Shwacker broadheads! Anyways, I was so exhausted so no pictures of the doe but I wound up with 92 pounds of deboned venison! Tenderloins with fried onions & squash for supper tomorrow! Oh .... about 10 minutes after the ruckus from the shot, the biggest buck that I have pics of showed up licking a branch, rubbing his antlers and walking around the edges just out of my shooting area! Hopefully he will be next?
