Bone Head Move !!

Post by Fusion525 »

So when shooting my Matrix Grizzly for the first time this year about a month ago a dry fired it by mistake. After I inspected the limbs and did not see any damage and I checked all the bolts on it for tightness. Since the incident it just isn't shooting the same, my groups are jumping around where it used to be a tack driver. I make scope adjustments to bring it back to center and then it seems to drift off again after a few shots. Scope bases and rings are tight but I'm thinking maybe the scope got damaged during the dry fire.
Any thoughts ??

Check to make sure the trigger unit isn't loose.

X-2 on both above statements.
Check the scope mount screws if tight pull the stock and check the two screws that hold the trigger in place. Something jarred loose.

I would do a complete nut and bolt check. Everything. Remove the stock from the rail and tighten every fastener. Also, check your limb tiller to make sure it's equal....and verify your marks using only one arrow. If you're all over with the same arrow your scope is pooched.

Also check the brace height....

EXPERTS have spoken..So take from me only what has happened to me..

WIND can throw your arrows around ..
ARROWS themselves can act up ..I had problems with GT arrows went to ZOMBIES and no problems..

WIND was big one that really threw me off I had to call PAUL just could not figure it out ..waited until wind died down all arrows shot great ..

I had problems with both a bad scope and arrows that would not pattern and the experts here straightened me out quickly. hopefully your problem is a minor easily fixed issue and not a repair. good luck.
