Re: Lunch of Champions
I passed on a few small bucks this morning, saw several doe, but no shot. The apprentice took a fat 6 point out that looked genetically messed up. He's getting tired of deer hunting for this year I think. That looks really good though. I'm going to butcher that deer tomorrow with the kid, then maybe have me one of those with a frosty cold Yuengling!

Re: Lunch of Champions
WHAT, no cheese! I just can't seem to make it past a Yocco's without getting a couple of chili cheese dogs with onions. The ABE area has another one called Pott's that are just as good, just looking at that makes me hungry!!!

Re: Lunch of Champions
Great minds must think alike! That's what we had for lunch today.
I did have shredded sharp cheddar cheese & hot sauce on mine (along with the chili & onions), though.

You guys must all have shares in scent killer eating lunches like that while hunting
If guns cause crime, all of mine are defective
Re: Lunch of Champions
Looks good, and satisfying. Suppose we don't really have a traditional lunch while hunting. Spaghetti made with combinations of deer and/or wild pork sausage has become somewhat traditional for hunting dinners though.
Re: Lunch of Champions
when You talk about Traditional meals -- I hope we all can agree on my favorite morning after a successful hunt-- # 1 meal!
Nothing can best a plate of fresh venison loins / back straps -with over easy eggs and a bunch of buttery browned chucks of fried potatoes

I do agree with a great chili dog for lunch--preferable made with my specialty chili - the meat is usually elk- venison or buffalo

Re: Lunch of Champions
Dan,
While sitting up there looking at and giving a pass to all of those "Small Bucks" What bow were you holding in your lap ? Sounds like perhaps you are looking for a "Bruiser" to iniate the new bow.
BTW, I don't see the new Micro 355 in your signature yet.
