Popped the cherry on the Micro

Played hooky from work this afternoon and went hunting with my son and ended my season. Headed out around 130pm and set up about 2:20 pm. I am not usually a fan of selfies but at some point I decided to take pic of my shooting lane and the camera happened to be in selfie mode and when I saw how crazy I looked I just couldn't resist:

You can just see the limb of my Micro 335 (still a virgin at this point).

At 3pm this guy came strolling by:

He field dressed 209 lbs for an estimated live weight of 265 lbs.

He is an awesome buck a real brute congratulations on sticking it out in this late season well done!

Wow is that ever a nice buck congrats to you on toughing it out in the cold today.
Just curious - was this buck headed to a food source early? Or following a doe, etc

Nice buck .l love getting one in the snow. A lot better than crawling around on hands n knees lookin for blood
