The string is not easy to get out of the latch without shooting the bow.
Same deal if you uncock with the crank. String stays in the trigger unit. .

There is a release you can trigger in the back of the trigger box on a Ravin to remove the string after decocking. Does the Assassin not have this feature?

no it does not. It can be done I was told but not easily. they told me just to leave string attached.

I do not think the one on the Ravin is easy either. Probabaly best to just leave them on.
