I hope someone brings an Assassin so I can have a second look @ it.. Lol

Lol, Jeff never knows what he wants !!! I might not post much on the forum but I troll much often and lots of different post with Jeff's unclear views on what xbow is next.

Next year I will be 50! I had to Make the choice between a destination hunt or another new crossbow. Destination TBD but I'm warming up to Newfoundland Moose... lol
My current Black Bulldog/Micro hybrid is all the bow I will ever need to harvest whatever critter I'm after. So for now I'll be watching all the other members upgrading from the cheap seats. :)

It's held every July at Don's place just east of Toronto. It runs from around Friday afternoon until Sunday. Do a search on this forum, lots of pictures and stuff from past years.
The most important blood trail leads to the Cross...

It's a bit taunting when you do a search on Boofest :shock:
So in short, it's were we from this forum get together every year. It's a real family event with no heavy drinking but lots of laughs, smiles and some story telling around the fire. We meet people that we've known for every but only through the computer. We have shooting events, mostly a short 3D course and last year we had a 100 yard shoot. We usually have a charity, although I am having trouble finding a verified, worthy recipient that is related to Excalibur crossbows this year. In that charity we have draws for things like crossbows, arrows, optics etc. It's happening the weekend of July 21st at my place near Newtonville, Ontario. If I don't find one, I'll consider it a holiday!
I rent a few outhouses and I have an outdoor shower running with rain water. Drinking water is available as is areas for camping and trailers. Many stay at neighboring hotels.
As Moni said one year, it's like a really big family gathering but with people you want to see! :lol: :lol: :lol: This has been going on for about 7 years now. Visitors come from as far as British Columbia, Maine, Texas, Arkansas, Florida and England. Many a friendship has been solidified here!
This year, Bill and Kathy Troubridge (the founders of Excalibur Crossbows) have told me they are coming. I'm also beating up some of the employees whenever I get a chance. They people who work there are all very nice and interesting people.
But do yourself a favor and do a search on Boofest, maybe add words like pictures or 2017/2016/2015 to Boofest.
