I had one but I like the Suppressor much better... :)

The suppressor is better balanced and if your remove all the rubber sound deadening gizmos I it will be the same speed in a more compact frame...

I like mine. I did get a Crank for range time because it gets a bit hard to cock for me. I cannot comment on the trigger, had a Trigger Tech installed at the supplier shop. It's quieter than I thought it would be, and very accurate as expected.

I've had all the micros now, a couple times over. Aside from the supressor(come on usps). And I have run them in every possible riser vs rail configuration you could come up with.
My take on the micros is 335. Its hard to beat. The 315 is pretty sweet, but it doesn't come with all the options, thats its ONLY strike against it. The 355 is just a sweetheart of a hunting unit, but you may not enjoy cocking it for extended practice runs.
The 335 (gen2) is basically a micro home run. It comes with a the goodies youd ever need, its just at the edge of being easy to cock, and it fast. But they are all fast. Altho the draw weight is close on paper, the gen2 riser does seem to offer a smoother cocking effort.

A lot of folks comment on how they couldn't tell the difference cocking the various micros in the store back to back, But cock the 355 ten times, then cock a 335 or a 315. And try not to punch yourself in the chin. The difference becomes pretty evident.

If you really want the best all around micro for speed, find a gen 1 335. Short cocking effort and pretty darn close to the 355 speed wise.

I really like my 355, it’s great to hunt with, has a nice balance and feels good to shoulder.
It is very accurate and poi never moves, and I find it rather quiet. I don’t even mind the tack zone scope either.
As far as the trigger goes I don’t know a good one from a bad one. I did have an issue with the safety not working correctly which I think it was an isolated incident because I have not heard of any others having trouble. I took the trigger out of my equinox which had been reworked and it works prefect.
Of my three Excal’s it’s the first one I grab to hunt with.

My only complaint and I’ve stated it before is my bow is slow, not happy there.

What is the average speed difference between a gen 1 335 and a 355 . Was the Micro 355 made in both gen 1 & 2?

As far as I know the 355 didn't come out until all the issues with the 335 were resolved. The first generation 335 were really closer to 345 in most cases.

355 was only gen2.

My gen 1 335 with a 8pt string shot 335.9 a couple days ago. With a 400 grn arrow

My old 355, shot the same arrow with the same string at 324.8. That was last year.

Correct my, 335 gen1 is 10 fast, and my old 355 was 10 slow.

if you want 355fps the Suppressor wont get you there. its about the same as my Gen 1 335. about 340 fps./-343ish i never herd anyone report on a 355 micro with a 350 grain quill getting 355fps. maybe someone could report on theres.the reason i kept the gen 1 micro over the suppressor is the simple direct trigger as opposed to a linkage bar and speed being the same i couldnt see keeping both. ive recently shortened my Micro Buttstock an inch and is now the ultimate treestand crossbow. wish Excal would make an even lighter shorter Micro type stock.

I think I have a Generation 1 335 Micro called a 355 Micro.
