Robin hooded my first bolt

I was shooting yesterday and took a shot with a field tip and then with a Slick Trick. Now I have a wedge cut out of the nock end of a bolt.
I knew it was dumb to aim at the same place twice.

I’ve never done it. I knew from the first bullseye shot that would be a risky idea.

I don' like replacing arrows, or even just the vanes... so I don't shoot at the same spot under 50 yards.
And after last weekend when I sent 2 arrows at the same bullseye at 50 yards I probably won't do that again either.
My eyes ain't as good as they used to be, but the 2 arrows were about 1/2 inch apart.

I remember back when several of my buds shot longbows we used to try to Robin Hood. It was a very rare thing.

Hahhaha! One of the first things I tell someone when I hand them an Excalibur to shoot is not to aim at the same place twice. LOL

Sure is nice to have that level of accuracy and consistency though!

Kind of a funny story

When i first taught Kathy to shoot the Exocet 175 I said Don’t shoot at the same spot! After about 5 shots I said shoot at the same spot, she told me this,You just said don’t shoot at the same spot

I laughed and said I just want to see how consistent you are ! Well we all no what happened her first and only Robin Hood
