What 10PT does is unusual. They do actually put patents on everything they can. A few years ago they patented the arrow pullers that have been made by Danny Miller for years. They patented a stroke to limb width ratio. They patent things not to protect their work (like Darton does) but to harm others. It's legal, but only because someone in their patent office approves it And yes the parts are made in China and Excalibur bow parts are made mostly in-house but all in NA with the exception of fasteners. I've been in the actual factory and I've seen everything made with the exception of the stocks and fasteners. That is not the case with 10PT. All bow parts come in boxes labeled "made in China". Not that there's anything truly wrong with that but they do label the boxes otherwise.

Well it sure looks like their technology is working,, this is 70 yards with their new Stealth that Ravin is coppying and injuring owners with!
3x scope at 70 aiming center of heart looks like both arrows would have been ruined if I had aimed at the same one twice. just left of center, with that chineese chit!
In my opinion their is only one recurve worth owning and that is well documented for years,,,,,, EXCALIBUR!
But when it comes to compounds no bow is as proven for as long as TENPOINT! those are facts regaurdless they both do it, or where they come from!

Ravin is copying the Stealth? Dang Bob, I would have sworn that Ravin was out for two years before the Stealth. Please make a long post explaining exactly how in your mind Ravin is copying their NEW to the market bow.wildcatter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 2:06 amWell it sure looks like their technology is working,, this is 70 yards with their new Stealth that Ravin is coppying and injuring owners with!
And it looks like shooting at 70 yards and over you have found your "next rifle".

Ravin pays royalties to TP for the design’s patents. Just like TP pays royalties to Scorpyd for their patents of RD bows.

Re: Ten point Phantom & Excaliber M 405M
I agree with the above mention of 10 pt. Great product. Mine had the aluminum copper anodizing. Stolen!!!!
That bow never had an issue. I had seen a lot of excaliber and never thought recurve. I was ignorant to how well the recurve shoots, ease of string removal and change.
My first day bow hunting I popped three strands on some saw grass in the Everglades. Love EXCALIBER. I am a believer! Oh and I always carry an extra string, allen set, and restringing aid.

Very true but that is not COPYING a bow. If anything Tenpoint is copying Ravin.

The cam and cablke system the width is all designed and owned by Tenpoint, the rest of the bow is, everything else about the bows are different and Tenpoint git it right! a Rail, a crank system that doesn't leave you dead in the water if the crank system fails, and they will, the ability to shoot fixed blade broadheads without the tuning headaches of the railess Ravin, and like I said a proven safer firing system that doesn't requier the trigger to travel creating more wear and instability!
No Bob the Ravin bought Tenpoints width and cam system and screwed everything else up, rushing it ahead before it was totally safe to use, this is all Ravin did!

I do believe my point was that it is impossible for Ravin to be copying the Tenpoint bow when they were on the market over 2 years before the Tenpoint was. And if like you say all the rest of the bow is different then how are you accusing Ravin of copying Tenpoint?wildcatter wrote: ↑Sat Sep 01, 2018 11:07 amThe cam and cablke system the width is all designed and owned by Tenpoint, the rest of the bow is, everything else about the bows are different and Tenpoint git it right! a Rail, a crank system that doesn't leave you dead in the water if the crank system fails, and they will, the ability to shoot fixed blade broadheads without the tuning headaches of the railess Ravin, and like I said a proven safer firing system that doesn't requier the trigger to travel creating more wear and instability!

sorry your not understanding what facts are being made, see Tenpoint developed it long before Ravin had it,, and then they had to pay the company that already had it to use it, this means AFTER Tenpoint had developed it, they were nice enough to allow them to use it,,, my guess is then when Ravin screwed it all up and maimed users, Tenpoint offered it in a bow that wouldn't injure it's users,, just my guess robertyb.
