Mike,
I downsized my collection. 3 crossbows only. BD400, Aculeus 180 & Solution. I was able to get very good prices selling the M405,405 & M380 all set up, arrows, scopes, cockers, etc. to local hunters. Using the Charger crank should make cocking the BD330-400 not that much different (only have shot the 400).
The BD was my most accurate and easy to use Excalibur. The Scorpyd is also very accurate and adequately fast. The areas I hunt still lend themselves to longer ranges so the 400 is my choice. To me, it’s still the most desirable of the Excaliburs for my use.

I moved a Micro 355 and a BD 360 to fund the Strata. I now only have two bows and both are built in cranks. After I made peace with cranks I have no plans to go without one. These newer cranks are extremely nice and very handy to have.

I have the 310 and it's a pleasure to shoot and very easy to cock.
Most of my stands/blinds are set up for 18 to 40 yards. I do have a couple that I could possibly shoot out to 60 yards but I have never shot a deer over 28 yards in 34 years of bow/crossbow hunting.
I am currently contemplating purchasing the BD330 which would be set up for hunting while the M310 would be for target shooting and emergency back-up. I really have no need or desire to use something big enough that I would need a crank.

I expect the BD330 will be easier to cock than the M310. My BD400 is easier than my M380 was.

I'm the total odd ball on this forum, I've only owned one crossbow and I've been using it for the last 12 years. :wtf:
