anyone have a good bear hunt in ontario?

5 of us hunted this week. One big dry sow harvested with an Excalibur Vortex by the Newbie bear hunter!!

The meat was split 5 ways and man is it delicious!!

Many many Sows with cubs got a pass.

Great week of Bear hunting \ pike fishing had by all in Northern Ontario aka Gods country!! :)

My wife and I had a great week at Big John's bear camp and only saw sows with small cubs.

congrats on the hunt!!! ... but how can an old Vortex with no bells or whistles and fancy gadgets or top mounted quiver added kill a bear..LOL

Hey Jeff, im just poking some fun at the hotrod bows, u just made my point tho, firebolt, xcal broadhead no lighted nock, but he got his bear!!!
Im getting Derricks 310, but I do miss my Vortex... good luck this yr...2 tags finally again

Nice bear. Nothing wrong with excalibur stock equipment. .....lts just us weirdos who are never satisfied with anything .Or lets just call it a disease we have.
