Dave,

I went to the doctor Monday. Xrays said no fractures.

Swelling is starting to go down. Still very black and blue..I've got a wrap around brace from rehab that will allow me to put on my rubber boots.

I WILL be out there in the morning.. I'm hunting the closest stand to my parking spot though...

Good luck Woody, I got another doe on Mon. evening with my little old vixen.That should almost do us for the winter now (if wifey doesn't share too much.)

Great news that you are mobile a bit. Good luck in the stand and hope you can climb OK.

it was tougher than I thought.

I had a half mile round trip and a climb up and down into a 25 foot stand.

The ankle was throbbing by the time I got back to the truck.

Climbing the tree hurt worse than I thought it would. All of my weight was on my left foot every other step. That hurt.

Rain is forecast for the next couple of days so I will probably sit some more time out.

It was real foggy this morning and I didn't see any deer. BUT - I was hunting..
