Seeing quite a few rubs and 2 nice bucks in the pasture out front of house,
and they were nose to ground and air, so looks like it,s starting here in my little world.
have not seen any scrapes as of yet.

The bucks have been chasing the doe's and I saw a scrape today(first one this year)
Doe's have been out eating all day today after being harassed by the bucks all night.
My neice's bf got a bow this year and I set him up behind the cabin...
He shot a doe on his first time bow hunting at 2:25 this afternoon. :)

I shot this one yesterday with a rifle as I hurt my left shoulder and can't cock or hold up a crossbow yet and this morning I was back on stand and had a larger 8 point run a doe by me twice. I though seriously about shooting him but the rut is just starting and I was out alone with only one good arm so I let him walk. Probably going to regret it but we are not going to shoot does this year as we lost a lot to bluetongue and I am only allowed 2 bucks and really did not want to end my season so fast. Anyhow, here is the one I shot yesterday.

Congratulations on the nice buck Robert  . Now if you would just move them towards me I would definitely appreciate it.
