I was wondering if anyone has tried to use an aftermarket pocket retractable cocking rope.
I am curious to know if they would stand up to the powerful draw weight of our excalibur line.
I have seen it stated that they are good for most crossbows but...
Maybe excalibur could come up with one we know would stand up to the task
Ten Point made a model. It was a nice rope cocker. They were a bit pricey, and some of the Excals draw a lot more than the Ten Points. Not sure if it is worth it.
I would be concerned with the hooks breaking during the upstroke and also be concerned with the potential numerous consequences if the hook (s) failed.
I wouldn't try it.

I was hoping that maybe someone had used them and had something good to say about them.
I liked the concept but i kind of figured it probably would not end well for the bows i have.
I will stay clear of them.
My brother has them on his Wicked Ridge crossbow (made by TenPoint). They're convenient, but the problem with them is the retracting spring doesn't pull them back tight enough. Consequently, the plastic handles rattle against the stock when you walk with it = noisy.
