what would be the best lubricant for the linkage in the bull dog trigger from trigger lever to bottom of
trigger housing (transfer bar). I dont really want to take the stock off like weekly to oil it. seems I wore
mine out .

Although there are others here who will chime in, I would think Moly would be the way to go.
My new linkage is a bit loose, and rattly side to side. Although still tight as far as play goes. It was from an early model bd400 same as yours. I plan to remove it, check the fasteners and fill the spring areas with moly. The grease will quite it down if nothing else.
