I want to buy my husband a hunting bow for Christmas, but I know NOTHING about hunting or bows. Please advise!

I have to agree with Digger,I had other brand's of X-bows but Excalibur is the best I ever shot...

shewhoknows nothing... Let us know which state or country you live in. In some states in USA and some countries crossbows are not legal. If they are, I would recommend an Excalibur Exocet for his use- a Vixen for you. Good Luck: Striper

I've been hunting for 45 years now, and I'm a pupil. always will be, like most of the folk here.
I came here to learn crossbow hunting myself. Got tired of using magnum rifles with huge scopes, wanta try real hunting again.
These folk will steer you right.
