need bear crossbow parts

hi,
I got a bear lighting strike crossbow for my 14 year old handicapped nephew about 2 weeks and I'm having a hard time finding parts, I need to find the front sight or sight rail, 12 22" 2234 bolts with the special nocks and a 44" 26 strand string.

I don't use a crossbow, I use a afterburner compound.
Do you know where I could find these items? I have called bear and then
talked to dealer in my area and they can't help me?

The front sight sits horizontally 2 7/16"from left to right and 1 3/8" top to bottom for the sight to mount, measured from the middle of each hole.
If i can't find these items?
I will take him with me, he has gone with me before and wants to shoot his own.

It might be just cheaper to find a red dot sight for this bow. check again with Bear Archery and see what fits, a regular red dot is about $40 new.

A guy said that in a 94 catalog I should use 2234 bolts and another said to use 2219, what do you think is better for my crossbow?

Should I put limb savers on?

2213 to 2219 in aluminum bolts should be fine for your xbow.2234 seems a bit heavy.

brodrickk That Bear xbow be one that the bolt don't ride a rail, like the older PSE FireCat I think, right or wrong Also I would shoot nothing lighter then a 2219..The bolt should be 22" or 24" I can't rember. On the one I had back in 94-95 anything lighter then 2219 wanted to fish tail all around.

It used a 2219 @ 24" with a standard nock, the front of the arrow/bolt set in a donut shaped arrow rest. It's pull weight was 150Lbs and I used a red dot on it.
