Micro 308 Short - upgrade trigger?

Post by NonTypicalCPA »

I've got a 308 short coming for my daughter. I've always put TT in my other Excals. Does a TT or the new Excal trigger fit in the 308 short? I've been told the 308 short still comes with the older style Excal trigger.

No the Micro 308 doesn’t have the new ACP trigger in it. I’ll tell you this, the new ACP trigger is awesome! I just installed it in my BD380 and there is NO more creep at all! The trigger just glides smoothly then a crisp break! I actually think the new Pro-Shot ACP trigger is better than the TriggerTech trigger! Good luck!

Yep ACP all the way. All the TT's I owned were not kind to my servings. :(

If I were you I would try the stock trigger when it arrives. Maybe I got lucky but my recently purchased Micro 335 trigger is awesome and no upgrade was needed! :)

Sounds like the new trigger is the replacement I want if the stock trigger is lacking. Thanks!

I have a single stage TT with the claws worked over by BOO in my 310. It's nice, but honestly A factory trigger worked on by Boo is a better option in the 308. That's what I ran in my 308, and it was very nice .

ACP is 28.5% the price is a 308 hahaha

Hmmmm .... where can you get a new 308 for $450.00? The Pro-Shot ACP trigger is only $149.99 with free shipping!

You know what, you're right!
$199cdn
$699 cdn.

I'll edit my post for you. Guess it doesn't matter how many 308short/trigger combos you've tried out in 2019 on the crossbows and triggers you actually own if your lighthearted loose estimate is off by 4.5%.

Back on topic
To the OP, the 308 doesn't warrant the ACP. Honest tried and tested feedback.

No offense to Don, but I personally would pay the $150.00 for a trigger that comes with a warranty and won’t void your crossbow warranty over a warranty voiding trigger job for $99.00! It seems that everyone that has commented on the forums really like the new Excalibur Trigger. It is better than the new TriggerTech trigger that I just sold in my Vortex! Either way good luck finding a trigger you like!
