arow head

Post by JD Jones »

I am new here, and to the prospect of big game hunting with a crossbow. That said, I would like to hear you folks openion of the various arrow heads. I've been looking at Muzzy, Wasp, and Magnus Stingers. Lotsa good press, but which ones would really do for elk.
Thanks
JD

I my opinion, going for elk I'd be looking at the 130 grain Wasp Camlock....and a stiff, heavy arrow like a 2219 or Beman Thunderbolt.

I'm a Wasp fan also and if you are heading for Elk I am with RL and go with the Cam-Locks. I am using 125 Hammer SST's for my trips afield right now in search of venison.
