Now for my hunt this evening. 1st evening of
"the running of the doe's" I first had a lil spike walk in behind me and under me heading to the feeder about 100 yards away up stream. Followed by a yearling. Then I spotted a rack coming through the thisck on the other side of the creek. As he came out He was a nice 8 20" spread with 10" G-2"s. I let him cross and make his way up to the feeder. Then a small 6 came in above me on the hill with a 4 and another spike. Thay all walked off. I figured my evening was about over but then I hear a lil noise coming up the creek on the other side. Boy he was prity. Light color with a half tone white side nice Piebald 8 point only about 17" spread but white racks and high to boot. I would have taken him if he came over the creek but he had his mind made up for checking out the doe's up in the field. I'll see him again. It can only get better for the next 10 days.
