Put the string back on

Post by PRB »

Well we've been very busy here lately. I told the wife just this morning that I'm getting burned out and I'm going to string up the Vixen and take a break from it all. This afternoon I set up target and whalap !!! dead on the money. It made me feel good once again knowing I got the best most dependable crossbow money can buy. I target tip shot 26 times. I got the McKinzie out and shot 1 Slick Trick and it hit right where it needed. So I'm going to get up in the morning and go sit in the stand and freeze my A$$ off. I will be excited if I even see a deer. If your all lucky youll get to see a picture of me...with a deer

Thanks Gary. I miss getting on this site and talking about crossbows deer and turkeys. After shooting the Vixen this afternoon I took the broom back to the deer stand to sweep it out (leaves and coon crap) and there on the ground in front of me as I'm walking back I see what could very well be the Pineyriverbuck MONSTER!!!!! 8) I talk to my neighbor this past weekend and he said he seen him one time earlier this year. So I know that my hopes may be higher than they need to be but you never know. If all else fails then I'll simply daydream that I shot and killed him while sitting in the stand.
