Closing stupid things

Post by longbow joe »

I get the closing things really l do. But the line has to be dealt with.
They are limiting the amount of people In the stores but also dropping the hours causing more stress and chaos.
Now they closed a local park to jogging and dog walking rather than just rope off the playground and such.
Making a big deal of close contact but almost all contact l see is family that lives together anyway.
My point is you can only limit so much or someone is going to snap.people need an outlet. Letting someone not jog or walk a dog!!!!
Fine line between the times of hitler!
They wont let the tackle shop open but the gun shop can ? Also the beer store is open ....l got beer l need a 500 yard spool of p-line.
Why cant they let 10 or at least 5 people in the sporting goods store at a time instead of closing it and ruining a mans buisness?
I have a small buisness without customers your dead anyway you dont need a virus.
I'm very lucky I'm working mostly buisy as heck putting lexan "spit shields " up at buisness 's
and see the poor peoples pain but just want normal again.

Last Sunday, I needed something from the home store near by. I went up there, and the parking lot was full! Also 50-100 people standing around visiting by the door.....City limited number of people inside at any one time, so they all have a party in the parking lot waiting on their turn. Daaanng that's great thinking!
Went to grocery store after work yesterday, they have one of the entrances blocked off as EXIT ONLY. You have to enter at other end of store. So if I need a Rx refilled, I have to go in the far end and go all the way through the store to get to the Pharmacy, and interact with many more people.
I get that this is real. I get that they are trying to help, but both of those fixes are silly beyond belief!

They closed the boat ramps in our area! Are you kidding me!! Fishing from a boat is the best way to social distance and now that's gone too!!!

I gotta admit it felt a little cool walking around the range with my gun and mask ...when would it have been ok to do that before. It's not all bad.

.....for those of us that handload pistol ammo...I’m glad I have stocked up enough components to produced approximately 40,000 rounds across 9mm, 38/357, 40cal and 45 cal... not one of all the places I have bought from in the past have ANY primers in stock...plus there is no back ordering!

.....I guess a man cannot have enough reloading components, eh?

They are asking all non essentials to stay at home in home, but Texas Parks and Wildlife issued a Free Fishing edict. No Fishing License or permits required during the Covid outbreak. Does any of this make sense?

It doesn't make sense to those who are not politicians. However, to those who are and speak through both sides of their mouths it makes perfect sense. It would make sense to the rest of us if we realized that the "powers to be" have ulterior motives and a hidden agenda.
You might ask, what is that motive and agenda? The truth be known, it is all about SOCIAL CONDITIONING!!

Not to hijack this thread, I'll elaborate on social conditioning in a new thread.
