C2 Crank

Post by rattlerun »

This has probably been covered before, but I would like to revisit it.
Pulled out all my bows during the Covid deal and started shooting, working my way up from my Cub, to M350 se, to M355, and finished with my M380 MadMax. In this process, I’ve found out I’m getting older and weaker, hence I ordered a C2 crank. Plan to use only when needed. My questions are, 1. Do you wax the string/rope? And 2. Do I put any lube on the spool axle?

I have had a C2 since 2011 and all I have done is occasionally wax the strings as they tend to slip making a popping noise under pressure without the wax. No other maintenance has been done.
