I just inherited a compound crossbow. This one is called a Killer Instinct Machine 380. The one nice thing about it is the folding stock that makes it realy small to pack. It has been shot about 100 bolts total and the cables are frayed already to the point that I am replacing them. The new cables are $45. This total crossbow when it was new is under $300 and this model is discontinued so I've seen them for $240 NOS. I would like to hunt with it one time successfully for the sentimental value. After that I will sell it and get an Axe 340. Maybe give it away to get a new person into crossbow shooting.
