I never seen it coming

Post by xcaliber »

So I took my buddy out shooting on Saturday he brought his Martin, and I had the Matrix 380, and the Micro 355. I planned on giving him the 380, and would have bet the ranch he would want the bigger faster bow since he is 6’4” tall. He likes it just fine, then I let him shoot the Micro, and he could not believe how fast, and quiet it is. So now I have my 380, and I’m glad I didn’t bring the Axe with us. He’s very happy with the gift, and I’m gonna alternate between the Matrix, and Axe this year. I have to make up some arras now! :eusa-violin:

It must be a Micro kind of thing.

My daughter inherited my Exomax when I got my Micro 335. Due to my upgrades this season, I gave her a choice of upgrades as well.
A: Matrix 350 SE that I took two 8pts w/last season
B: Micro 335

After shooting both, she took the Micro 335 home.

I'm a pretty good sized fellow too. A tad over 6'2". I really find the Micro bows are a pleasure to not only lug around but to maneuver high up off the ground in a tree stand. They are also great (JMHO) inside a pop-up blind!!

And Dan...you never cease to amaze me with your generosity!!!

..... at the opposite end of the spectrum... for those of who strain our necks talking to Normous at Boofest.... you wouldn’t want to donate the AXE to your buddy from The People’s Republic of New Jersey now would you?

I'm down to two, and can only shoot one at a time. I'm going to try to get my garage finished in my spare time before next summer, and maybe, just maybe I'll get another Excalibur then. When I say finished I mean, insulated, a ceiling put in, and I'm thinking OSB for the walls, painted of course. My buddy did his garage floor with the Corvette Flags emblem, and it came out really nice, he's artistic in that area, but they sold that house, then the Vette as a result of their divorce. Anyway, I'm thinking maybe the floor too, gray with metallic blood splatters!

Steve, you’ll have to get here faster than my eldest daughter, she drove my truck and now has a crazy notion to get a V8 truck! :eusa-popcorn:
